Toward the end of December, the Trump administration shared their vision for America’s national security strategy. I welcome John Yoo, senior research fellow at the Civitas Institute at the University of Texas at Austin.
He helps me understand how the national security strategy may or may not be significant in future, but right now it states the goals of the Trump administration. And we’ll begin by emphasizing the good, because there are things here to celebrate.

What always amuses me are the claims about China being a threat. Western business leaders and Western Governments "created" the China we see today. It was admitted to the WTO and then proceeded to clearly break its rules over the next decade. Everybody and their dog knew that China was stealing technology and setting up heavily subsidized industries which led to deindustrialization in the West. Seems to me, the unacceptable face of capitalism built China and is now desperately regretting it. Makes me truly wonder who the real enemy is?
Now as to the comments about Europe, the Professor seems to completely ignore the undemocratic and leftist EU Commission and its lunatic approach to Russia for a war that Merkel (and others) actually admitted they signed the Minsk 2 Agreement will "ill intent". He also ignores the European self destruction of their economies by pursuing the Green Agenda while India and China are permitted to build out massive coal fired power infrastructure.
Not particularly convinced in this Guests argument.
