Nuctech: a Chinese company that is well known for threat detection systems. What is that? Well, you know, when you get your luggage checked at the airport, that's a threat detection system checking.
Nuctech, however, happens to be a Chinese company. And as a Chinese company, it has skills that are superior.
But I learned from Lilla Nora Kiss, who is a senior fellow for international affairs and academic integrity at the National Association of Scholars, that Nuctech is very attractive to European buyers. However, they're worried about that surveillance part. They're also worried about how it is that nuclear can dominate the industry with these low prices.
Does that mean it's been subsidized? Does that mean it isn't actually a standalone company, but an aspect of the Chinese Communist Party? Unknown, unknown.
I said that it scans luggage. What else does it do? How else does it sell itself to customers?
