I welcome Anne Lord, Director of Government Affairs for Defense Policy at the Vandenberg Coalition in Washington, D.C. She is a former staffer for Senator Ben Sasse and holds a degree in strategic studies from the University of St. Andrews—a beautiful place I recommend highly to visit, if not to send your children to school there.
However, we turn to another beautiful place: beautiful Taiwan, off the coast of the mainland of the People’s Republic of China. It is much in the news as recently as the conversation at the summit in Beijing between the President of the United States and the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party. The PRC threatens Taiwan, making claims that are inaccurate, to say the least.
